With a passion for the kitchen and Fire Safety, Shelby has over eleven years of professional cooking experience and over twenty years in the restaurant industry.

Raised in Smithers as the son of a welder, Shelby was exposed to many trades. This has allowed him to offer tailored services to restaurants, commercial and residential properties in preventative maintenance and fire safety.

Since 2010, Shelby has worked on the maintenance of restaurants in Alberta and BC. In 2014 he became the chairman for Commercial Canopy Cleaning with the Alberta Fire Safety Association.

In the Fall of 2016, Shelby returned to the Bulkley Valley setting up Shelby International Inc. adding many services to the area that didn’t exist prior.
